Under direct supervision of Leadership, the purpose of the position is to provide support to the Store and provide customer service to patients. Colleagues in this classification perform greeting, customer service, sales support, dispensing and doctor’s assistance work. The position is responsible for greeting patients, preparing patients for doctor’s visits, and assisting patients with the purchase of contacts and glasses. The Responsibility is to create an efficient patient flow and flawless transition as it relates to the retail portion of the company. Performs related work as directed. The Patient Coordinator will be required to meet the productivity numbers outlined while maintaining a high level of customer service.
The Patient Coordinator will create a customer experience for the patient while using proper dispensing techniques. The dispensing process will include determination of the power ranges and specific lens measurements by frame; measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for client according to written optical prescription or specification.
